Graeme Haycroft has been called a union buster, but as the founder of a nurses’ professional association, it seems to be an ill-fitting description. Perhaps he’s been given that name because he’s a monopoly buster.

He’s critical of the raw deal workers get when they’re not given genuine choices, and when monopolies are allowed to flourish unchallenged. As a former large employer, he’s also not trying to stick it to managers and business owners.

Is it possible that both employers and employees can get a great outcome?
